Plymouth County Outreach (PCO) in partnership with the Police Assisted Addiction Recovery Initiative (PAARI), and Beth Israel Deaconess Leahy Health in Plymouth has received a grant from South Shore Health to integrate a “Team Approach” to provide Behavioral Health Services to residents of Plymouth County.
This “Team Approach” commonly referred to as the HUB Model was developed and used with great success in Canada as well as the city of Chelsea and sections of Boston. This HUB Model brings together collaborations between Law Enforcement, Behavioral Health providers, and other resources to deal with approximately 24 social determinants that factor into one’s behavioral health needs. Training for the HUB Model was conducted during the week of January 13, 2020 in Plymouth with all Plymouth County Outreach regional HUB Tables expected to go on-line the week of January 20, 2020.
This is an exciting and great opportunity for Plymouth County Outreach, PAARI, Beth Israel Deaconess Leahy Health, and South Shore Health to bring behavioral Health treatment to a new level in Plymouth County.
If you would like to access HUB services, please reach out to your local Plymouth County Police Department, email PCO/PAARI HUB Coordinator John Rogers at Jrogers@
