John W. Rogers Jr., Captain (Retired) Plymouth MA Police Department

John RogersJohn W. Rogers Jr. is presently the Plymouth County Outreach/PAARI HUB Program Coordinator.  He previously served as a Plymouth Police Officer for 34 years retiring in December of 2018.  During his tenure he served as Detective, Narcotics Investigator, Training Supervisor, and Detective Unit Commander overseeing general investigations and narcotics.  He was promoted to Captain in December of 2008 where he was second in command of the department overseeing day to day operations, special operations, and Internal Affairs Investigator.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western New England University.  Captain Rogers is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and instructs as a subject matter expert for the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee.  Captain Rogers was directly involved with the inception of Plymouth County Outreach and previously served as Project Coordinator for Plymouth County Outreach.
