“My son Richard had a great smile and was always neatly dressed. He loved and valued his family more than anything, especially his daughter.
One of my favorite memories with him is when his daughter was born in 2007, I’ve never seen him so happy. He loves her so much. Another favorite memory is when I danced with him at my other son’s wedding. Richard told me I was the most beautiful woman there.
He was very close with his brothers growing up. He used to love playing cribbage with his younger brother Joe. Now, Joe visits him at the cemetery every day.
He was also quite the prankster. I remember he once painted his older brother Derek’s toes while he was sleeping. Derek didn’t realize he had pink toes until he took his socks off later.
Richard impacted my life as all my children did. He was always so happy, a gift from god. He will never be forgotten and will always be missed by his family.”
