Vicky Butler
Executive Director
Vicky began her career as a volunteer Recovery Coach working alongside Plymouth County Outreach Officers and currently serves as the Executive Director of Plymouth County Outreach. In this role she works closely with PCO’s 27 municipal police departments and Chiefs, Bridgewater State University, community medical partners and numerous other community partners in harm reduction, treatment, prevention and recovery to identify gaps in service and implement new programing to meet the needs of the community and reduce overdose fatalities.
Vicky holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in addiction. She is a Certified Addictions Recovery Coach through the state of Massachusetts as well as a Recovery Coach Supervisor trained through the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS). Vicky proudly serves on the South Shore Community Partners in Prevention (CHNA 23) Steering Committee, the DMH Plymouth area site board and the public safety subcommittee for the Plymouth County Drug Abuse Task force.
Vicky received a leadership award from the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative and has presented at numerous national conferences and events including the COSSUP National Forum, The Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit, the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI) National Summits, the Stimulant Summit, the Police, Treatment and Community Collaborative (PTACC) summit, Massachusetts Children’s Alliance (MACA) conference, CoRCon and the IACP Conference.
As a national mentor site leader, Vicky aids police departments across the country looking to implement similar programs to Plymouth County Outreach in their own jurisdictions.
