September is National Recovery Month. We use this month to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders while encouraging individuals in need of treatment and recovery resources to seek help. We celebrate those living in recovery and recognize the dedicated individuals who work to provide prevention, treatment and recovery support services that make recovery possible.

The connections built in recovery are one of the most significant tools used to combat the isolation associated with and the stigma towards those with substance use disorders. PCO recognizes the importance of reducing the stigma and is proud to stand beside recovering individuals to spread awareness and educate our community. The purpose of this project is to showcase people in recovery sharing their experience on different elements of recovery to provide insight and promote connections.
