New leaves born from roots are unsettled in anticipation.

How long for the process to be complete and feel radiant without desperation.

A reminder of how the mind and heart must overcome to become one.

Steady the pace and catch up to one another.

The former self that overshadows, acting as the guide alongside your journey of today.

I used to fear the darkness giving into the light for an exchange of longer hours.

How with extra time, anxiety would be making footsteps ahead.

Prancing onward while dancing with yesterday.

Intruding current thoughts at each pass.

A blustering storm, strong even while in sleep, uttering emotions unkept.

Memories scattered around from sunrise to sunset.

Constantly hoping with the rising moon, the ambience of peace will take place soon.

Changes take time.

You will thrive.

Spring; the time for blossoming and new beginnings. Moving forward into this new season can come with mixed emotions. They can range from happy “finally! The long days and better weather are here!” to anxious “I’m worried and not sure how to handle the longer days and nights”. The time shifts (even if it’s positively perceived) can take some adjusting. This could be when a fresh start occurs, or picking up where life chapters may have left off. It’s check in time with yourself! Acknowledge all the feelings that come with this time of year. Try to have a plan in place to help guide through this process. Do you like the outdoors? Is this your time to begin on a new journey? Be sure to create a routine that helps you blossom. Be a part of activities that do more for your soul, your smile and purpose. Incorporate your choices with supportive people, activities, family and community: Running, biking, hiking, gardening, outdoor yoga to name a few ideas on how to stay active and healthy. Attending a meeting, volunteering also can help find ways to positive days. Sometimes, simply sitting to take in the crisp air can do a lot for the soul too. Remembering more time to ourselves can also translate to more time FOR yourself! We only have the moments we make. Enjoy & thrive one day at a time.

If you feel you are struggling, please know, you are never alone.

For those celebrating, rejoice, and we can celebrate together!

No accomplishment too small!

1 day, 1 month, 1 year.

Together we heal.
