WHAT DO YOU DO IF A PERSON IS OVERDOSING?
The first step is to call 911 and seek medical attention.
The Good Samaritan Law states that any person who seeks medical assistance
for a party that is overdosing will not be charged or prosecuted for
possession of a controlled substance.
In addition, the law allows for a person to possess, administer and receive
a prescription for the overdose-reversing drug Narcan.
Narcan can be obtained at your local pharmacy, at all Plymouth County
Outreach Drop-in Centers in East Bridgewater, Plymouth and Wareham, at the
BAMSI Cope Center in Brockton and at any Learn to Cope location.
Narcan CAN save lives!
This message is brought to you in part by Plymouth  County Outreach.
